The 11th edition of the European Blockchain Convention is scheduled to take place on October 16-17, 2025, at the Fira Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain. Organizers have announced an expansion for this edition, increasing the number of stages to three and enlarging the exhibition floor to 3,000 square meters. ^[1]

New features planned for the 2025 event include an exclusive breakfast for limited partners (LPs), private roundtables for focused discussions, a dedicated press room, and mentoring sessions for founders. The event will continue to feature its Startup Battle, a competition for emerging blockchain companies, as well as a hackathon. Networking is a central focus, with an official event app designed to facilitate over 10,000 one-to-one meetings between attendees. ^[1]

In response to global circumstances, the European Blockchain Convention hosted a virtual event in April 2021, titled EBCvirtual.
