It is a women led crypto and NFT initiative aimed to connect and integrate women into Web 3. These are created on Ethereum blockchain and It features artwork of renowned female illustrator eleven Gua.

Overview

Astro Girls Society is women founded NFT project aims to onboard women into web 3 and crypto space. It aims to make They aim to make this space accessible to all women by removing gender gap and educating and making it easier to understand.
The project was launched in March 2022 and NFTs were available to mint in three phases including two pre -mint tiers on 10th and 11th and public sales on 12th. Details are as follows..^[2][3]

Traits

This collection includes of 3,888 randomly generated digital collectibles having various rarity. There are up to five traits and a combination of more than 160 attributes. These rarity traits contain 100 Hairstyles, 10+ skin tones , 30+ eye combinations 20+ lips/mouth styles and lot of combinations of accessories such as Necklaces, Clothes, Tattoos, Wings, Backgrounds etc.

Team

The Astro Girls Society team includes five women web 3 personalities .
These five members are -

• Sandra Leow - She also works as an analyst at Nansen.
• Regan - She is a co host of fem3 voices and also a student of university of southern California.
• Mitz -She is associated with various other crypto projects including web3baddies, gitcoin dao and index coop.
• Mimi Chachang - She is a corporate lawyer.
• Cindy Leow -She is also co founder of Drift Labs.^[1]

Artist

This team is working with Shanghai, China based renowned illustrator Eleven Gua. She is consistently featured on well known fashion magazines such as INSTYLE and Marie Claire.

Sales

The mint price for Astro Girls NFT was 0.05 ETH to 0.08 ETH before listing. There was a maximum of 8 Astro Girls limit per wallet. So it means that if someone buys 3 in the presale, they will only be able to mint 5 more in public using same wallet.
The Astro Girls Society NFTs are listed on NFT marketplaces like Open Sea , Looks Rare and few others. According to open sea, The highest last sales of Astro Girls are unearthly meteor #1679, with a price tag of ETH 0.3 ETH and The Magnetic Ashes #497 (both approximately $760 each at that time).^[4]

OpenSea further shows 1.5 Astro Girls NFT owners, as well as the traded volume of ETH 36+ ETH at the time of writing, which is over $73K as of May 12,2022.

Events and Educational Programs

Astro Girl Society Team has organized many events and educational programs for the community since their announcement of AGS project in February 2022. They have collaborated with prominent figures and teams in blockchain and web3 space and conducted programs on discord channel and also twitter spaces to explain and educate community on various subjects regarding blockchain such as web3, stable coins etc.

On 14th may 2022, they hosted Astrology 101 session with zencephalon.eth as main speaker.
